The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The position of an Audit Compliance Lead is instrumental in ensuring that an organization adheres to legal standards and internal policies. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the organization by providing counsel to management on potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate said risks. The role necessitates a meticulous attention to detail, a profound understanding of regulatory frameworks, and proficient communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to not only perform operational tasks but also contribute innovative ideas and solutions to optimize workflows and processes.

As an Audit Compliance Lead you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Oversee IT audits to ensure compliance (e.g., SOX) and ongoing adherence to relevant laws and standards.
  • Consult with the central security team to stay informed about security expectations, ensuring IT systems and processes adhere to policies and drive remediation within teams.
  • Create and maintain information security policies to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage responses to security incidents, including investigation, documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Responsible for Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) to determine the criticality of IT services and potential disruption impacts.
  • Develop and implement IT continuity and disaster recovery plans, including backup solutions and recovery procedures.
  • Periodically review and simulate continuity plans to ensure their effectiveness and update ITCP as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings, risk assessments, and security incidents for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with security and audit tools is crucial, along with strong analytical skills to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in compliance are also highly valued.
  • 5+ years professional experience with background in controls, audit, quality assurance, IT risk management, and/or compliance required
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with IT, business partners, and working with internal and external audits to assess security controls and compliance.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform suite, such as Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI.
