IT Auditor / Compliance Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Auditor / Information Security & Health and Safety Compliance Specialist with strong experience in information security and compliance frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 45001, and SOC 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, auditing, and continuously improving our compliance posture, ensuring alignment with regulatory, contractual, industry, and occupational health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, conduct, and document internal audits for ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 45001, and SOC 2
• Maintain and continuously improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and support the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS)
• Prepare the organization for external audits and certifications related to information security and health & safety
• Identify compliance gaps, assess risks (information security and OH&S), and track remediation actions
• Develop, review, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls for security and workplace health & safety
• Coordinate with technical, HR, legal, facilities, and business stakeholders on compliance matters
• Support risk assessments, vendor reviews, and control testing
• Monitor changes in standards and regulations and assess organizational impact
• Provide compliance status and audit reporting to management and relevant stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Compliance Specialist, Internal Auditor, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with ISO/IEC 27001 (mandatory)
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and SOC 2 (Type I and/or Type II)
• Strong understanding of information security controls, OH&S risk management, and audit methodologies
• Experience preparing audit evidence and interacting with external auditors
• Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance initiatives
