The IT Business Analyst will support SAP BTP implementations for Credit and Liquidity Risk, translating requirements into scalable solutions, ensuring compliance, and validating calculations and reports.
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned IT Business Analyst with strong experience in Credit and Liquidity Risk to support enterprise-scale implementations on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, translating regulatory and risk requirements—specifically LCR, NSFR, and MCO—into scalable SAP BTP solutions while ensuring compliance, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirement Management- Lead end-to-end business analysis for SAP BTP-based risk and regulatory initiatives.
- Engage with Risk, Treasury, Finance, and Regulatory Reporting stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
- Translate business needs into BRD, FRD, functional specs, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Drive requirement traceability from regulatory interpretation to technical implementation.
- Analyze and document requirements related to:
- Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)
- Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR)
- Minimum Own Funds and Eligible Liabilities (MCO)
- Interpret regulatory guidelines and ensure correct mapping to system calculations and reporting.
- Support data sourcing, aggregation, calculation logic, and disclosure reporting for liquidity metrics.
- Validate assumptions, stress scenarios, and threshold breaches.
- Work closely with SAP architects and developers on SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, CAP, HANA Cloud, Analytics).
- Define data models, interfaces, APIs, and integration flows between source systems and SAP BTP.
- Support design of calculation engines, data pipelines, and analytical dashboards on SAP BTP.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
- Create and review test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria aligned to regulatory use cases.
- Support SIT, UAT, and regulatory validation cycles.
- Validate calculation results, reconciliation outputs, and regulatory reports.
- Support defect triage and change impact analysis.
- Act as a liaison between business users, risk managers, compliance teams, and IT delivery teams.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos).
- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and documentation to stakeholders.
- Strong hands-on experience in Credit Risk and Liquidity Risk within banking or financial services.
- Deep understanding of LCR, NSFR, and MCO regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working with Basel III / IV liquidity regulations and supervisory reporting.
- Proven experience working on SAP BTP programs.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA / HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics, and integration concepts.
- Experience defining data flows, calculation logic, and reporting structures for risk systems.
- Expertise in BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, process flows, and data mapping documents.
- Strong analytical skills for complex regulatory calculations and large data sets.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar ALM tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience working in Agile, SAFe, or Hybrid delivery models.
- Ability to manage dependencies across multiple teams and systems.
