The IT Business Systems Analyst supports IT leadership in project planning and management, interfaces with system support for technical issues, manages project scopes and user needs, and acts as a liaison for various departments. Responsibilities include business analysis, system development, training, data conversion, testing, and ensuring compliance with security practices.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Supports IT leadership with planning IT projects, ensuring goals and objectives are met within an arranged time frame.
- Interfaces with system support and logs technical assistance requests as needed.
- Works with system support to resolve questions, problems, and enhancement requests.
- Manages projects including the formulation and definition of systems scope based on user needs, a thorough understanding of the business systems, and industry.
- Supports other departments, divisions, and organizations as a liaison to IT. Contributes to system development through the analysis of business requirements, business design, business development, client training, data conversion, testing and maintenance.
- Prepares charts, diagrams, and recommendations for business solutions while ensuring conformity with other business areas.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as described.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally two to four years of directly related experience.
- Must be a strong communicator (proficient speaking/writing English is mandatory) with experience working and excelling on a virtual team
- Previous experience as a Service Cloud Administrator in an enterprise environment with Salesforce & Service cloud admin exams passed as a plus
- Proficient at managing/creating flows, validation rules & administering Omni-Channel flows • Strong understanding of case management configuration
- Basic understanding of operating in a controlled environment with strong change management practices
- Experience with Service Cloud Einstein is a plus
- Experience working with Copado or other dev ops tools are a bonus.
