IT Technical Senior Analyst - End User Computing

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, develops, designs, and supports IT technology solutions within end-user and hardware systems. Performs complex analysis and translation of business, information, and technical requirements to achieve IT solutions that meet business needs. Develops design specifications and deliverables related to the support system enhancements.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and perform infrastructure upgrades and maintenance to SCCM/Microsoft Configuration Manager
• Develop and maintain ULS PC images for laptops and desktops using OSD and Autopilot (in collaboration with team)
• Assist with ULS's patching and vulnerability management processes for Windows workstations and servers
• Performing software review, as necessary, to determine software solutions based on user request
• Perform software distribution and packaging duties as necessary
• Document configuration and installation processes and details
• Perform system hardware/software troubleshooting as necessary
• Interface with hardware and software vendors as necessary during imaging processes and standards activities
• Interface with users, other support staff, and service desk for escalated troubleshooting assistance
• Assist in creating and deploying Active Directory Group Policy in relation to end-user computing configuration
• Actively participate in strategy and planning sessions related to PC and end client activities
• Contribute to projects/activities that improve the end user experience
• Create and generate out of the box and custom SSRS reports from SCCM/Microsoft Configuration Manager
• M&A Integration and Device Strategy participation
• Performs other duties as directed

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally five years of directly related experience and working technical IT experience in area(s) of specialty.
• Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer hardware and the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system, its service branches, and configuration.
• In depth experience and knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly known as SCCM) is required.
• Similar knowledge with Microsoft Configuration Manager OSD is required.
• Familiarity and hands-on experience with Patch My PC is preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, with a strong focus on supporting OSD imaging workflows and SCCM/MECM packaging.
• Proficiency with the Windows Package Manager (WinGet) is required.
• Familiarity with Lenovo hardware and Lenovo ThinkVantage technologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of Dell hardware and related PC software tools is an advantage.
• Strong capabilities in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting are essential.
• Solid understanding of modern PC imaging methodologies is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune is considered an advantage.
• Exposure to alternative operating systems such as Apple iOS and Android is considered a plus.
• Ability to clearly write and document configuration and installation procedures is required.
• Background working with SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is mandatory.
• Practical skills in configuring and supporting Windows security tools are needed.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset.
