As a Configuration Management Analyst we expect associate to perform below activities.

Technical Design, Development & Problem Solving:
• Ability to work under the guidance of the Configuration Manager
• Ability to complete tasks independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to recognize process gaps, inaccuracies in requests and data.
• Ability to schedule and run meetings with stakeholders, customers and support staff as needed.
Execution & Delivery:
• Ability to manage BAU within defined SLAs
• Ability to manage a variety of tasks in addition to BAU work
• Understand context of the work rather than just focusing on what is assigned.
• Excellent communicator and collaborates well with people inside the team and in other organizations
• Innovate and is open to ideas to improve efficiency and works with the team to pivot if necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Configuration Analyst role:

  • Enforce Configuration Management Process
  • Manage the CMDB and ensure regular housekeeping
  • Monitor and remediate issues found on: Configuration Team Dashboard, Integrity Reports, Asset Completeness and CMDB Health Dashboards
  • Remediation of automated De-Duplication Tasks
  • Creation of manual De-Duplication Tasks
  • Understanding importance of the CMDB and the role it plays across many tools and teams to support initiatives.
  • Manage and process BAU work such as: new Application CIs, Application CI reclassification, rename, decommission; Server Mapping, build and decommissioning.
  • Execute and Manage CI Certifications (annual and off-cycle)
  • Execute and Manage CI Class data integrity & inventory validation with Support Teams
  • Performs configuration audits to validate physical IT inventory is consistent with the CMDB and initiate necessary corrective action
  • Execute and manage various Data Integrity Initiatives
  • Train Configuration Management Analyst(s) and other staff in Configuration Management principles, processes and procedures
  • Creation and upkeep of Configuration Management Standard Operating Procedures
  • Create reports and queries to monitor specific risks, integrity and process adherence
  • Work with end-users with regards to New Application Cis, CI Decommission Process, Application CI Reclassifications, Application Mapping, CMDB Model, ServiceNow Query Builder and reporting as it relates to the CMDB
  • Work closely with platform support teams and customers
