Assist in developing Pippin's software platform by managing systems hardware and software, ensuring performance of web applications, and utilizing DevOps practices.
We’re looking for an experienced Associate Cloud and Dev-ops Administrator to join our growing company. Pippin is a real estate tech startup specializing in title services in the US. Through our advanced technology, we help insurance companies, property developers, governments, and financial institutions to produce title documents quickly and easily for residential and commercial properties.
By joining our team, you will assist in developing Pippin’s proprietary software platform. You will get the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies and take ownership of client-facing software applications.
Responsibilities
- Effective provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
- Enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
- Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, log management and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff and Business Partners.
- Ensure the quality, responsiveness, and performance of Pippin’s web applications
- Collaborate with other software developers and QA personnel
Must Have Skills
- Must have experience in deploying Servers in a virtual cloud network
- Must have hands on knowledge of DevOps and Agile
- Experience with continuous integration deployments
- Experience with Amazon AWS services and/or Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge in one or more Scripting tools - Bash, JavaScript, Python, Perl or Ruby
- Knowledge in one or more DevOps tools - Gitlab, Kubernetes, Containers etc.
- Knowledge in one or more Automation tools – Chef, Circle CI, Jenkins, Code Deploy and Puppet
- Knowledge in one or more monitoring tools – Nagios, Grafana, CloudWatch App Dynamic, Datadog or Prometheus
- Experience with version control and open-source practices.
Need to Have
- Great communication skills (written and spoken in English)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent demonstrated experience
