Roles & Responsibilities, Abilities & Skills:
Interprets Test Plans and Reliability Project Orders with minimal direction from Test Engineers
Performs product tests efficiently, strictly adhering to established Test Methods, according to RPO, test plan, and project schedule
Formally and comprehensively reports results and stores reports for future reference
Evaluates compliance of products to industry standards and regulatory requirements via product testing
Ownership of assigned Lab Machinery & Instruments completely
Takes proactive approach to safety, assuring procedures and behaviors are safe both for self and for others in the lab
Promotes increased lab productivity by performing preventive maintenance of all lab machines to prevent any breakdown of equipment, inventory planning for lab tools & consumables, timely calibration of all lab instruments. Review records for device traceability and compliance.
Self-starter, proactive, and self-sufficient in problem solving and accomplishment of tasks
Ensuring adherence to 5-S standards and housekeeping in test lab area.
Builds and develops technical work practices and skills.
Job Requirements:
Percentage of Travel: 10%
Minimum Years of Experience: 4
Education Standard: Diploma in electronic/electrical/instrumentation/Mechanical stream with 4-5 years’ experience in Testing domain
Knowledge & Work Experience required:
Comprehensive knowledge of all regulatory standards
Basic knowledge of electronic components and other basic Lab accessories. Capable of reading electrical and mechanical drawings. Performs automated and manual testing on products.
Able to follow written work instructions and complete necessary tasks accurately.
Good working knowledge of pneumatic components, systems and PLC programming.
Clear understanding about sensors, electronic components of DAQ & control software i.e. LabVIEW etc.
Capable of wiring the Manual / Automated Test fixture internal and external wiring given in the circuit diagram.
Knowledge on usage of basic measurement devices like multimeter, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal analyzers, Function generators, AC and DC power supplies, Automated Test Equipment.
Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.
Knowledge in MS applications like MS word, excel etc.
Maintaining Regular AMC/Preventive maintenance of test equipment/machines.
Maintain effective communications both verbal & written with customer, team members and cross functional departments.
Maintain Lab inventory with standardized documentation process.

Experience with architectural door hardware would be highly desirable, including exposure to BHMA and UL standards.
