We are looking for a Marketing Database Management professional to own and evolve the organization's marketing data foundation. The role will be responsible for ensuring that Marketing has access to a trusted, accurate, complete, compliant and business-ready database that can support demand generation, account-based marketing, personalization, campaign execution, lead management, analytics and AI-driven marketing.
The ideal candidate would own the quality, governance, growth, enrichment and usability of the marketing database, while partnering closely with MarTech, Campaigns, Sales/SDR, Analytics, IT and Enterprise Systems. The person will be expected to establish a scalable data management framework, identify and eliminate data quality issues, improve the marketable database, automate repetitive data processes and help build the data foundation required for advanced analytics and AI.
Responsibilities1. Marketing Database Strategy
- Own the Marketing database strategy, health and roadmap
- Define and maintain standards for account, contact, lead and prospect data
- Drive database growth, coverage and marketable database development
- Establish database health and quality scorecards
2. Data Quality & Enrichment
- Own data cleansing, deduplication, normalization and validation
- Develop data enrichment and augmentation strategies
- Improve accuracy, completeness, freshness and usability of Marketing data
- Establish processes to prevent bad data from entering the database
3. Data Governance & Compliance
- Define data ownership, governance, taxonomy and data standards
- Manage consent, suppression and data retention requirements
- Partner with Enterprise Systems, Security and Legal on data governance and compliance
4. Segmentation & Data Activation
- Develop audience segmentation frameworks for campaigns, ABM, personalization and nurture
- Partner with Campaign, Email and Lead Management teams to ensure audiences are accurate and activation-ready
- Improve target-account and persona coverage
5. MarTech & Data Integration
- Partner with the MarTech team to ensure reliable data flows across CRM, Marketing Automation, enrichment, web, SDR and analytics platforms
- Identify data integration gaps, synchronization issues and data leakage
- Support requirements for the future Marketing Data Lake / data foundation
6. Automation & AI
- Identify opportunities to automate data cleansing, enrichment, validation, segmentation and quality monitoring
- Explore AI-enabled approaches for entity matching, classification, enrichment and anomaly detection
- Continuously reduce manual database management effort
- 6+ years of experience in Database Management, Marketing Operations, CRM Data, Revenue Operations or a related field
- Strong experience managing complex B2B databases
- Excellent understanding of CRM and Marketing Automation data models
- Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, ZoomInfo or equivalent data/enrichment platforms
- Knowledge of data governance, segmentation, enrichment, deduplication and consent management
- Familiarity with SQL, APIs, data warehouses/lakes and BI tools is desirable
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Marketing, Sales, IT/Data and Enterprise Systems
- Analytical, process-oriented and highly detail-oriented
