About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Network Manager to join their Network Management team.
Network Management (NWM) is responsible globally for the coordination, oversight and management of Wells Fargo's enterprise wide external financial institution accounts (EFIA).
Our remit includes performing reviews on the Financial Institutions (FI) that Wells Fargo engages as custodians, clearing houses and triparty agents including Requests for Proposal/Requests for Information (RFPs/RFIs), onsite due diligence and both the opening and closing of EFIAs.
We are closely aligned with partner LOBs throughout the enterprise in Treasury, Finance, Risk and Operations to achieve our immediate and strategic goals.
Reporting to the Head of International Network Management (NWM), this individual contributor role will provide support to the Network Management Team with respect to Wells Fargo's enterprise-wide network of Securities and Securities-Related Cash EFIAs providers.
The successful candidate will support and work closely with the Head of Securities Network Management.
The successful candidate will support broader NWM efforts as required (e.g. specific projects; regional Cash support APAC, EMEA & Americas Cash; back-up coverage).

In this role, you will:
- Assist in driving the evaluation, selection, oversight and maintenance of Wells Fargo's EFIA and securities service provider relationships globally, including:
- Market intelligence and industry initiatives
- Undertake tactical and strategic dialogue with key internal and external stakeholders on business and customer requirements
- Accountable for the efficient and documented selection and due diligence of providers
- Global escalation point from Wells Fargo operations and business lines for all external clearing, settlement and securities-related issues
- Assist in Control and Regulations: raising awareness, with collaboration and creating efficiencies with lines of businesses (LOB) across the Wells Fargo enterprise in accordance with Network Management's strategy, established EFIA policy and ensure all relevant procedures are in compliance with market regulations.
- Help enhance the efficiency of our legal and monitoring framework - Service Level Agreements (SLA), account contracts, etc., in conjunction with the Legal, Risk, Product, Operations, Technology teams and all other relevant internal partners.
- Assist with preparation and review of Requests for Proposal (RFP) and/or Requests for Information (RFI) undertakings to help drive service provider reviews, selection, analysis of securities volumes globally and any associated reporting needs.
- Work closely with the Head of Securities Network Management to deliver ongoing projects; including, but not limited to:
- Assess and update both regional and global policies and procedures related to EFIAs as needed.
- Project management of CIB Operations initiatives with external counterparts
- Assist in creating efficiencies, evaluate account requests and requirements to ensure appropriate product and account design plus cost controls. and process efficiencies as well as drive A project management approach in support to Network Management's key deliverables and timelines will be required
- Experience within a Global Custodian, Broker-Dealer, FMI, in Operations or Network Management areas.
- Detailed knowledge of and demonstrated strengths in securities clearing, settlement, custody and funding
- Solid provider service understanding, due diligence and oversight appropriate to a NWM function at enterprise level.
- Highly motivated, energetic self-starter with demonstrated ownership skills.
- Strong analytical skills, decision making, problem solving.
- Ability to see issues in detail and within the bigger picture with a process and risk mindset.
- Keen communication and negotiation skills.
- Drive to identify cost savings and cost avoidance.
- Project management experience, including leading projects that implement product deliverables and process enhancements.
- A good understanding of the regulatory landscape.
- Exposure to contracts, compliance and risk management is an additional asset.
