Key Responsibilities:
- Perform strategic analysis of structured and unstructured data across multiple data sources.
- Develops data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data in order to generate actionable insights and address reporting needs.
- Defines data requirements and gathers and validates information, using judgment and statistical tests.
- Support creation of Data Quality rules to bring data under formal governance.
- Identifies innovative and creative opportunities to develop data insights and maximise data usage to develop new strategies and improve business performance.
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions
- Ability to provide complex Business Intelligence solutions involving SQL, Python
- Helping the team and guiding the junior team members
- Extensive engagement with users (including senior management) for understanding & translating their requirements into user friendly dashboards/insights.
- The incumbent will be expected to up-skill on an ongoing basis to also venture into Advanced Analytics and be familiar with data science languages like Python and R
- Identify and manage risk in the area of responsibility including resolve blockers and bottlenecks.
Minimum Experience, Behaviors and Education Requirements:
- A university degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis or similar education and work experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role or as a data analyst
- Experience on analysing mobile applications data.
- Experienced in preparing business reports and professional documentation.
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of the power and value of data with an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs.
- Ability to assess stakeholder needs to improve customer experience, show resilience under pressure, and provide best in class solutions.
- Delivery-focused, with ability to meet agreed deadlines and delivery high quality output.
- Experience in dealing with requests and queries from senior management.
- Must have worked on mobile app data analysis.
Technical
- Demonstrable experience of working in a data-related role; data analysis, architecture, data structures & modelling, data governance with hands-on technical experience of using associated technologies
- Knowledge of ETL processes, and data warehousing principles
- Expertise and experience in data visualization with advanced Tableau skills
- Flexibility to work on and learn various technologies is a must
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python or Scala
- Experience with business tools like JIRA, Confluence will be a plus
