About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking Lead Information Security Engineer.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead computer security incident response activities for highly complex events
  • Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
  • Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
  • Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for highly complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
  • Review and correlate security logs
  • Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
  • Lead a team to achieve objectives
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
IAM Strategy & Architecture
Define and maintain enterprise IAM architecture standards, principles, and roadmaps.
Design scalable solutions for identity lifecycle management (Joiner-Mover-Leaver), access governance, privileged access management, authentication, authorization, and federation.
Partner with business and technology teams to align IAM capabilities with enterprise security and compliance requirements.
Provide architecture leadership for IAM transformation initiatives, cloud adoption programs, and Zero Trust security models.
Cloud IAM & Modern Authentication
Lead architecture for Azure, GCP, AWS, and SaaS identity platforms.
Design authentication and federation solutions using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and modern identity standards.
Define secure patterns for workforce, privileged, and machine identities.
Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Architect privileged access controls for human and non-human identities.
Design credential vaulting, secrets management, brokered access, session management, credential rotation, and least-privilege enforcement solutions.
Partner with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to strengthen privileged access governance.
Architecture Governance
Conduct architecture reviews and security design assessments.
Define reusable patterns, reference architectures, and engineering standards.
Ensure solutions satisfy security, resiliency, scalability, availability, and compliance requirements.
Job Expectations:
As the architecture lead, you will partner with engineering teams, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application owners, and enterprise architects to evaluate solution options, establish design standards, and ensure alignment with security, compliance, and long-term platform objectives. The role extends beyond core CyberArk PAM and includes oversight of integrations, automation capabilities, cloud platforms, and upstream/downstream identity ecosystems.
