The Team and Role:

As a Lead Product Manager for S&P Global's Enterprise Data Management Platforms team, you will own and drive the end‑to‑end strategy, vision, and execution of our enterprise data catalog across multiple divisions and business lines. You will lead the build-out of a unified data discovery and metadata governance capability that supports how S&P Global discovers, understands, and governs its metadata at scale. This includes:

  • Harmonize and prioritize cross-division needs into a single enterprise roadmap

  • Establish shared standards and operating models for metadata, data discovery, and governance

  • Act as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders, driving alignment and adoption across business lines

  • Influence stakeholders and partner teams across Product, Platform, Technology, Data, and Business functions

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic influence: Shape direction beyond your immediate team and influence senior stakeholders and peers across multiple divisions

  • Enterprise mindset: Make decisions based on firm-wide value and drive convergence on shared standards and capabilities

  • Stakeholder leadership: Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, facilitate consensus, and navigate a matrixed organization

  • Communication: Communicate clearly and succinctly to executives, technical teams, and end users

  • Execution excellence: Orchestrate delivery across teams and regions, managing dependencies, risks, and issues to a high standard

  • Collaboration and mentoring: Work across product, data, and technology functions and provide guidance to less experienced product managers

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Direct product ownership experience with agile delivery

  • Experience managing enterprise or multi-division data products

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team leadership

  • Solid background in metadata management or data management

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Familiarity with commercial or open-source data catalog platforms

  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives while meeting deadlines and maintaining stakeholder confidence
