What you’ll do

You will have ownership and accountability for executing annual hiring plans for a collection of technology functions within your recruiting portfolio. You will be the owner of your portfolio with the freedom to decide how best to execute with excellence on annual hiring plans. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in projects and other initiatives that evolve and improve the way we do things at Okta.

Key Accountabilities

  • Independently develop annual hiring plans, which will include defining the value proposition of your business and its roles to the market, aligning sourcing strategies and creating processes to execute on assessment and hiring with excellence

  • Engage the technology talent market as an ambassador for Okta

  • Execute the end-to-end hiring process with excellence with a primary focus on creating consumer-grade experiences for everyone you interact with

  • Provide data-driven insights and proactive recommendations to your business stakeholders and talent acquisition leadership to continually evolve how we attract and hire talent

  • Proactively participate in projects that add value to the business, the global talent acquisition function, and our broader People Team

  • Coach and guide other members of the talent acquisition team

What you’ll bring to the role

  • A strong alignment to and demonstration of our values: Love Our Customers, Always Secure, Always On, Build and Own It, Drive What’s Next

  • The equivalent of 6+ years experience in talent acquisition with a track record of building software engineering and product development teams

  • A strong understanding of market trends and the latest technology stacks used within the India technology space

  • A strong understanding of how to market to and attract the best software engineering talent to an enterprise SaaS organization in India

  • An understanding of the business ecosystem around hiring and experience partnering with business leaders, HR, finance and operations teams to execute hiring plans with excellence

  • Demonstrated experience in using data to inform hiring strategies, identify improvement opportunities and influence executive stakeholders

  • Experience incorporating the ethical use of Generative AI in Talent Acquisition

  • Experience within the Cybersecurity or Identity Management space

  • Program/Project management experience delivering initiatives outside of direct hiring
