Description
Striim is looking for a Lead Software Engineer who is ready to make an impact in realtime data-streaming and large-scale data integration. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a vital role with leveraging technologies like TestNG in Automations and bringing more value to our customers via Real Time Data Streaming platform. Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing of our products to ensure quality and reliability.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and conduct peer reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Drive test case automation initiatives and actively contribute to the development of automation strategies.
- offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software products.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer with a strong foundation in quality assurance practices.
- Proficient in Java programming, with extensive hands-on experience in using TestNG for automated testing.
- Skilled in framework development, preferably in Java, with a focus on creating efficient and reusable testing structures.
- Expertise in SQL Server, including architecture, installation, configuration, and advanced database management.
- Experienced in leveraging Jenkins and Docker for seamless continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Well-versed in operating systems, network concepts, Docker containers, shell scripting, and test case management tools.
Preferred Skills
- Contributions to open source is a plus.
- Knowledge in any Data Replication/Analytics Products (good to have)
- Exposure to Data migration use cases
