Job Title – Lead Software Engineer

The Purpose of This Role

To contribute to a highly performance team to deliver efficient and innovative technology solutions to the Fidelity Wealth business.

This involves working closely with the global team and remaining in touch not only with the latest technologies but also with the business domain. This also involves constantly finding newer and better ways to achieve operational excellence. 

your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain Regulatory application; while ensuring they are built with quality and adhering to the engineering practices, performance.

• Coding as per the specifications for the Trading business

• Designing and implementing technology solutions for the Capital Markets business

• Working closely with our business partners to contribute to business-critical initiatives

• Demonstrate software engineering excellence through continuous integration, continuous deployment

• Keeps current with IT blueprint, frameworks and technologies that would benefit us and improve our productivity.

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/large cross functional teams as part of work delivery

• Follows practices and contribute towards innovative solutions to increase productivity

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical / Behavioral

• Strong analytical and programming skills

• Strong knowledge of KDB q , Core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework

• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Jenkins, uDeploy

• Exposure to Agile Methodology with prior experience working in cross functional organization

• Exposure to Unix/Linux

• Should be good in Design and Analysis as the role requires to work on multiple initiatives

• Good communication skills

• Team player

Our team provides technology services in the area of development, maintenance, quality assurance and production support of mission critical wealth applications. The Fidelity Wealth platform, we support is used by 300+ Correspondent banks, 5000+ Investment Advisors, 12 million+ retail customers and 130+ hedge funds, and is capable of handling over 1 million trades per day amounting to 300 million shares. The FBT India team is distributed across Chennai and Bangalore.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• BE / MTech / MCA

• 6+ years of IT experience as a developer

Location : Bangalore

Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00pm
