Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Supervisor role within the Outbound department, with about 25 direct reports
- Monitor order inflow, resource planning and people management for the daily delivery and shipment flows and handle special incoming requests
- Engage the team towards best-in-class performance to ensure timely order processing in the best quality and efficiency
- Effective issue resolution and communication towards the supporting teams which includes performing root cause investigation, coordinate issues with other teams, have attention for detail, and a high-quality focus
- Build close working relationships with your crew of operators and supporting teams as well as other internal departments
- Initiate, organize and or support the implementation of improvements within the department
- A mix of operational leadership, communication and continuous improvements skills in the delivery of service and support of the Outbound processes
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Supervisor experience in a dynamic environment, preferably in logistics or production
- Available to work in shifts together with other supervisors (between 7am-21pm)
- Fluent in Dutch & English and clear communication skills to employees, leaders as multiple stakeholders
- Influencing, convincing and motivating skills
- Ability to drive deadlines, KPI targets, & compliance and to prioritize, plan and execute to the best of the company
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to make decisions and take swift actions
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience within a medical device environment are considered advantages in this role.
