What you will do:
- As the driving force behind a dynamic, cross-functional team of computer vision engineers, scientists, and deployment specialists, you will be responsible for directing cutting-edge research, design, development, and deployment efforts.
- Manage and lead a cross-functional team of computer vision scientist and engineer, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Lead, mentor, formulate and work with the team to design, prototype, evaluate, optimize, implement and deploy CV/DL algorithms as an integral part of AI-powered medical technologies.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration within the team.
- Document and present progress in algorithm design, development, and evaluation (requirements/design/architecture/bugs/tests)
- Lead code reviews for projects/systems as an independent reviewer applying design principles, coding standards and best practices.

What you need:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering/ computer science or related discipline with 10+ years of work experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in computer vision and deep learning / machine learning development, with at least 4 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of deep learning, computer vision, machine learning, and working with edge-based / embedded computer vision Application
- Experience with Python or C++ is ideal.
- Experience with CV/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, OpenCV,, PCL, TensorFlow, scikit-learn etc. for model training and deployment.
- Experience in designing and training and deploying production-grade deep learning architectures for computer vision application with a broad understanding of latest CV / DL methods and literature.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Preferred
- Experience with medical devices and product development in a regulated industry, e.g., software developed under ISO 13485.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale computer vision projects on time and within budget.
