The Role
We are seeking a Manager, Finance with deep expertise in both traditional and digital finance; someone who brings the analytical discipline of investment banking and the curiosity to engage with the evolving decentralized finance landscape. You will contribute to developing the investment and financial strategies across our crypto and fintech portfolio. Ideal candidates have significant experience in financial modeling, alongside a strong grasp of the digital finance and fintech environment.
What You’ll Do
Financial Model Development & Maintenance
- Design, build, and maintain robust financial models to support business planning, product pricing, and investment decisions for crypto, fintech, and traditional investment opportunities.
- Develop scenario-based forecasting models that account for user growth, transaction volumes, and macroeconomic factors.
- Ensure all models comply with best practices in model architecture, documentation, and version control.
Strategic Planning Support
- Collaborate with senior management to translate strategic goals into actionable financial metrics and forecasts.
- Support budgeting, long-range planning, and performance tracking for new and existing fintech products.
- Model various funding and capital structure scenarios to optimize growth and liquidity.
- Provide analytical input on pricing models, unit economics, and customer lifetime value (LTV) optimization.
Data Management & Reporting
- Integrate data from internal systems and external sources to enhance financial forecasting accuracy.
- Partner with the Finance Data team to ensure financial models are fed with clean, structured, and timely data.
- Maintain data integrity and reconcile financial outputs with accounting and operational systems.
Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Present complex financial findings in clear, actionable terms to both executives, and non-financial stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial models with business initiatives.
- Prepare financial narratives and KPIs.
- Maintain documentation to ensure model transparency and consistency.
Other responsibilities
- Manage exchange treasury functions on a weekly and monthly basis.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years total experience in finance or investments, including:
- 3+ years in investment banking (M&A, tech/fintech coverage ideal); or
- 2+ years in private equity, hedge funds, venture capital.
- Known for meticulous execution and precision under tight deadlines.
- Ensure flawless attention to detail, and maintain the highest standards of data integrity and completeness.
- Deep understanding of financial valuation and fintech economics.
- Proven experience building detailed traditional financial and fintech models.
- Comfortable analyzing DeFi protocols, liquidity, and treasury management.
- Strong command of Excel, PowerPoint, and modern analytics tools.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills — able to turn complex data into compelling investment narratives.
- Resourceful and intellectually curious; thrives in a fast-moving, high-conviction environment.
