Roles and Responsibilities
● Understand the Brand DNA
[Customer Age group, Financial limitation, Expectation on the Brand and Design]
● Understand Action calendar [ Line assortment] Map
-Proto &
-Size spec and manage the timeline
● Understand Buy plan
Map PP/Gold seal and manage the timeline with in 3days
● Flash the Number of Proto /pp/Dexter update/ Size spec
Received request and resolved and pending details to the line manager /Team lead
● Understand Categories in the Brand and various Fits/Blocks
● Understand COE function and ensure COE to deliver right info to the Vendor
● [Size spec/ Vendor ref sample/Patterns/Marker] etc
● Design Handshake [understand the design sheet and Make sure design information is
sufficient enough to the Vendor/COE]
● Preparing the size spec for every style ensure to upload the size spec in the PLM and
make supplier to understand the specs
● Lead Sample review and approval along with Design team, ensure that comments given by
design team is incorporated in the
-Proto
-PP/Gold seal
After sample review comments to be sent to the vendors /update in PLM within 48 hrs
● Establish the connect with Sourcing/Brand/Design /Internal team lead and members.
- Conduct weekly meeting with stake holders and Review Buy plan have clarity on
samples no for succeeding week and month
● KPI Reporting on weekly basis with Line manager /Dept lead
1. Right 1st time [Monitor Proto and PP sample review and rejection rate with root
cause analysis]
2. Timeline management
-Size spec update on style level + season wise master chart + style attributes
-Review buy plan in the weekly meeting
-Publish proto and pp approval within timeline;
[ pp sample s/b approved within 45 days prior to delivery]
- Dexter update
3. Maintain Master data sheet of sample approval on sample tracker.
Brand/style ids/type of samples/status of approval / If rejected - Reason for rejection
[1. design /fit change 2. Spec related issue/Pattern related issues
3. Workmanship/out of tolerance]
4. Ensure Fit integrity is delivered to the customer [ Block check] etc
5. Understand the customer return [action plan to reduce the customer return]
6. Vendor pattern management [using COE ensure that vendor patterns are correct]
● 360-degree feedback should be taken from stakeholders after agreement with
Team lead, based on which improvement plan has to be discussed once in 3 months
Qualifications & Experience
● 7-8 years of experience with Fashion Background.
● Familiarity with Fits process/ Size & graded spec/ Size attributes for men, women and kids.
● Understanding of Pattern making/ Garment construction/ Risk assessment for knits and
woven material.
● Ability to communicate with vendors/ cross functional teams
● Comfortable with Timeline/ Data management
● Preferable experience of understanding one of the pattern/marker making software.
