About Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manager-II - AI/ML Manager to lead and drive the development and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions that address customer and business challenges. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in applied AI/ML, with a proven track record of transforming data into actionable insights and scaling AI solutions across an organization. This role will require strong leadership, technical, and project management skills to oversee a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI/ML researchers.
What you will do:- Develop and execute the AI/ML strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and data initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and R&D.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Oversee the design and implementation of machine learning models, including model training, validation, testing, and monitoring.
- Drive adoption of advanced ML techniques, such as deep learning, NLP, and computer vision, where applicable.
- Lead end-to-end AI/ML project lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions, managing resource allocation, timelines, and risk assessment.
- Establish performance metrics and evaluate model impact on business objectives.
- Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex ML concepts into business insights.
- Communicate AI/ML project progress, impact, and value to senior management and executive teams.
- 8+ years of applied AI/ML experience with a strong background in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing teams of data scientists, ML engineers, or AI researchers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Leadership qualities that foster team growth, encourage innovation, and align team efforts with business objectives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
