Manager Product Management – Mastercard Gateway - EEMEA
Overview
The Product and Engineering team in EEMEA is performance driven and works across functions (i.e. product development, marketing, global and regional product teams) to refine and execute winning propositions for the region.
The Mastercard Gateway (MPGS) is the largest eCommerce gateway in the EEMEA region with a strong geographical footprint and is a key platform for enabling acceptance growth. Our offering is being expanded to cover new Omni Channel flows, enable domestic scheme across EEMEA and offer additional services that enhance value of our proposition.
The role
This position will be the MPGS Product lead for Value Added Services and will lead our agenda to drive differentiation in the marketplace through enabling various Mastercard solutions, partner capabilities and new forms of payments that can bring incremental value to MPGS acquiring banks, merchants across key verticals and PSPs. The role will focus on the strategy to evolve the overall proposition and generating incremental revenue streams through new capabilities.
- You will be responsible for enabling MPGS customers with our solutions such as Launch new enhanced fraud monitoring tools catering to non-FIs such a merchants, PSP
- Enable new C&I product offering via gateway to drive more value with the customers (Ethoca)
- Build and offer standalone authentication via gateway to scale the proposition in new markets
- Identify and enable partners offering risk management services catering new verticals such as Airlines
- Developing the product capabilities and go-to-market strategies to successfully commercialize these products via MPGS customers.
You will work in alignment with the Global product organization, Regional & Country account management and account management teams to prioritize markets, ensure the Global Products are fit for regional markets, assess local readiness and ensure market readiness across various teams. You shall drive the exploration of new opportunity spaces, develop strategies & commercialization models partnering with cross-functional teams to explore the viability new solutions that serve needs of our White Label acquiring bank partners, PSP and merchants.
You will own and drive the execution of the Value Added Services and MPGS enablement strategy in the region – define the governance model with cross-functional product and sales teams, oversight on key KPIs, highlighting roadblocks to meet key KPIs and escalating in timely manner for management interventions. In addition, you shall Build a revenue proposition to monetize the value delivered through the MPGS Enablement agenda in addition to General product management responsibilities
All About You
• Solid experience in acquirer and merchant risk / fraud management solutions
• Strong understanding of fraud challenges faced by merchant and PSPs and be the subject matter expert in working with these customers to drive our agenda
• Experience developing and commercializing our Digital Payment solutions to deliver value to acquirers and merchants across different industry verticals.
• Strong operational/technical background within the payments and financial services industries.
• Strong leadership skills, able to get things done through influencing others
