About Team
This role rests within the Central Strategy & Analytics Team of the Myntra Fashion Brands (MFB) vertical within Myntra. MFB is a house of brands, and is comprised of brand management, buying, sourcing, and growth teams. The central strategy team is responsible for a variety of business deliverables including overall inventory health, demand planning, ad-hoc and structured analyses, and central projects.
The overall MFB team depends heavily on data for driving various initiatives (such as, sales growth experiments, season buying data, sales forecasting exercises etc.) and hence requires a good mix of analytical storytellers and planners to be part of the team.
Roles & Responsibilities
Role:
The recruit will be part of the analytics and planning part of the team and solve analytical problems to drive the key success metrics of the team.
Responsibilities:
Broad responsibilities will include:
- Using data to drive analytical projects across all complexity levels and to generate key business insights & recommendations to enable decision making.
- Creating cohort-level revenue & margin plans/forecasts for BAU and event days. Monitoring these metrics & deep-dive analyses for problem-solving sessions will also be a key part of the role
- Being the “data backbone” for the various campaigns run by this and other dependent teams. The recruit will need to liaison with other cross-functional teams (brand management, sourcing, central planning etc.) to provide insights and operational support.
- Data visualization for easy consumption of insights for senior and middle management
- Evangelizing and operationalizing the analytical solutions for usage across the MFB organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with good business understanding, and ability to get their hands dirty as required. 1-2 years of experience as Data/Business Analyst would be preferred
- Highly proficient in use of Excel, SQL, R/Python. Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau and Power BI is an added advantage.
- Efficient project and stakeholder management skills. Should have demonstrated the ability to work independently in a highly demanding environment with strict deadlines.
- An open mind and pleasing personality with ability to make sense of ambiguity.
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable handling multiple projects
- Good communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
