We are looking for a Manager, Software Engineer (FinTech) to join our team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a great team of colleagues.
About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments
- 10 years of experience in ERP/ Finance/Oracle/sql/app dev/NetSuite
- Experience with ERP implementation , mainly in Financials domain
- Knowledge of NetSuite billing/financial application is a plus
- Completion of at least one full ERP implementation
- Experience in designing, prototyping, testing and deploying solutions to meet customer requirements
- Ability to effectively manage customer expectations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, MIS or related field
- Participate in cross-technical, cross- discipline project teams to better leverage the Enterprise Resource Planning systems
It would be great if you also have
- Familiarity with CRM system integration and other downstream integrations such as Single Sign On, HRIS, Professional services automation systems and other corporate systems.
- Understanding of IT Support processes and systems used to support users
- Understanding of Development methodologies – Waterfall and Agile/Scrum
- Provides any required Management support for decision making, reporting etc.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Work with business partners to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging NetSuite Financials platform
- Lead Financials development and support activities including discovery, design, configuration, documentation, testing, and project review sessions
- Works with technical team to set priority, determines any development sprint structures
- Acts as the technical owner for Financials systems and drives technical decisions
- Works with testing teams to ensure product / release quality
- Partners with data management teams to work on any data migration plans
- Develop scripts for data merging and migration, and assist in the development of ERP interfaces to internal and external systems
- Work with architecture teams to make sure solutions implemented are compliant with systems roadmap.
- Mentor junior team members and actively share knowledge with others and drives any technical documentation
- Support business development activities such as business case development , management status reporting
- Understands IT Support processes and systems used to support users
- Understands Development methodologies – Waterfall and Agile/Scrum
- Provides any required Management support for decision making, reporting etc.
