What we're looking for:
YOU as a Manager, Software Engineering with expertise in cloud native development, flexible and open to work in different technologies if required, willing to collaborate with the brightest engineering minds, customer focused , ready to work at a fast but sustainable pace and help scale our critical cloud microservices required by Citrix Client Apps.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 8-10 engineers with varying degrees of experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Own and manage the product engineering roadmap & releases, prioritizing performance, scalability, and quality.
- Debug and handle complex technical design discussions across various stakeholders.
- Understand and enforce best security practices.
- Track and report project and feature status to executive level.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Actively supports, communicates and enforces the company’s software engineering processes and standards.
- Contribute to Quality and Process improvements throughout the development life cycle.
- Manage team skills and actively recruit top talent.
Basic Qualifications:
- BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field with 12-15 years of overall software development experience.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in engineering management.
- Must have delivered 2-3 large projects in production and well versed with handling of post-production customer escalations.
- Very good understanding of Cloud Native development.
- Experience in Azure or AWS cloud platform.
- Development experience in one or more of these languages : Java, JavaScript, TypeScript. Experience in Angular framework.
- Experience with Agile development methodology (preferably scrum).
- Excellent communications skills and able to lead a team of highly technical individuals.
- Experience/Exposure to development tools (GitHub Co-pilot), Automation testing (Cypress) and CI/CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.)
