They are both leader and doer combining strategic design thinking with hands-on skill. Their design approach is always human-focused and they are comfortable working on projects from start to finish as researcher, strategist and designer.
The Manager UX Product Designer is comfortable in an Agile design setting that involves collaboration across disciplines and time zones. They are strong communicators and are able to articulate their design decisions to peers, stakeholders, clients and executives.
The Manager UX Product Designer will play an important role in a team that is re-envisioning the design and experience of our digital products. As a member of a small but growing design group, they will help shape the design team’s culture, contribute to our methodologies and evolve our design system.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as “champion” for users and their needs
• Translate user insights into concepts, journeys, wireframes and prototypes using industry standard tools like Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, and others
• Plan, develop and lead user research and usability testing to optimize and evolve our products
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including product managers, engineers, client services and senior management
• Demonstrate on-going learning including understanding changing digital behaviors and technology advancements
• Establish design patterns and guidelines. Collaborate with the design team to evolve our design system to achieve quality and consistency across products
• Mentor and lead other designers
• Contribute to a culture of performance, curiosity and fun within the design team and company

Qualifications:
- 10+ years in Experience / Product Design
- Professional portfolio demonstrating quality, creativity and problem-solving
- Proficiency with Sketch, Axure, Adobe Creative Suite and InVision
- Proven experience creating concepts, journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other experience design artifacts
- Demonstrated success collaborating with visual designers, developers and product owners in defining and designing digital experiences
- Experience working across teams to integrate feedback and input from diverse stakeholders (product managers, engineers and clients)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
