User Experience (UX) Manager provide program management leadership and operational support to the Design Team and across functional teams by increasing communication and connection points, streamlining the UX design process, and driving product excellence. You will coordinate the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers. In this role, you'll combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the designs of products that are used by our customers. You'll work cross-functionally and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, and help projects meet deadlines. As a Lead UX Manager, you will also manage all project-related communications to team members, executives, and other stakeholders. You are a master planner and a flexible project manager and a developer of Talent in the team.

Responsibilities

  • Have a strong understanding of UX processes, as well as experience interacting with users and stakeholder management, assessing requirements, designing, and prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Act as a bridge between UX, Engineering, and Product Management (PM) teams, connecting all three groups and making sure interdependencies are understood and planned for.
  • Drive design efficiency by assessing gaps and identifying opportunities. Implement an inspecting mechanism, process and tools around documentation, reviews, asset management and other key design operations.
  • Act as the in-house expert on human-centered design thinking, which will be widely deployed across projects and re-design initiatives within the organization.
  • Show competency in UX deliverables such as UX documentation, User Journey Maps, Personas and Goals, Information Architecture, User Flows, Wireframe Prototypes, and Usability Testing.
  • Experience measuring qualitative and quantitative data.
  • A keen aesthetic sensibility, with an eye for creating visually appealing designs with a high level of detail.
  • Should have expertise working with agile development teams and cross-functional teams.
  • Leads and owns crafting a modern design system / UX framework.
  • Align UI/UX designs across a portfolio of projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, Miro, Illustrator, and other design tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Working manager to build and lead a group of internal and external UI/UX designers as part of a team.
  • Mentoring the UX/UI team and determining their future career paths based on business demands and personal goals.
  • Orchestrate successful delivery for multiple projects simultaneously.

Basic Qualifications

  • 12 to 15 years' hands-on experience working with and leading UX/UI teams.
  • An outstanding portfolio that highlights significant UX/UI work.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree or business management, or in a related field is must.
  • Great written and verbal communication.
  • Extensive experience in gathering and interpreting customer experience information.
  • Capable at converting data into compelling information.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-centered approach.
  • Great organizational, stakeholder management and time management abilities.
  • Superb communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
