Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Manual QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and reporting
Responsibilities
• Review and analyze system specifications to understand testing requirements.
• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the resolution of reported issues.
• Validate fixes and ensure resolved issues do not introduce new defects.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and usability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities and results.
• Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to the quality standards of the team.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with testing techniques such as boundary testing, equivalence partitioning, and exploratory testing.
• Experience with defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
