Role Overview:
Cadence Design Systems is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst 2 who will play a pivotal role in advancing our data-driven marketing strategy. This position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in transforming complex data into strategic insights that drive key marketing decisions and optimize performance across various platforms. As a Marketing Data Analyst 2, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our data analysis capabilities and contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Data Analysis: Execute comprehensive data analysis using advanced tools and techniques to derive actionable insights that support strategic marketing decisions.
  • Dashboard and Report Creation: Develop and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar data visualization tools to track key marketing metrics and trends.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, IT, and other departmental teams to identify data needs and deliver solutions that enhance marketing performance and customer experience.
  • Campaign Performance Tracking: Utilize Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other tools to monitor and report on marketing campaign performance, providing insights for optimization.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Use Adobe Target to personalize and improve customer engagements based on data-driven insights.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous data cleaning, preprocessing, and testing to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Predictive Modeling and Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast trends and inform marketing strategies.
  • Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and developments to continuously improve our data analysis approaches.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong competency in SQL, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, GA4 and Excel for data analysis and visualization.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proven experience in data analysis within a marketing context, with a focus on transforming data into strategic insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data handling and analysis.
  • Project Management: Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills, particularly concerning marketing and website data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Advanced degree in data science, marketing, or a related field (BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MBA or equivalent).
