About SwitchOn
SwitchOn (Abee Research Labs Pvt. Ltd.) is a Bengaluru-headquartered Physical AI company. Our platform, DeepInspect®, plugs into production lines to catch defects in real time — surface inspection, OCR/OCV, dimension and assembly checks — at over 99.5% accuracy. It trains on fewer than 200 images without needing defect samples, so we go live on a line in days, and customers typically cut their Cost of Poor Quality by more than half.
We work with Unilever, P&G, ITC, Godrej, Bosch, MRF, Motherson, GSK, SKF, Bajaj and Hyundai across automotive, FMCG, pharma and electronics, operating in India, Europe, Southeast Asia and the Americas. In July 2026 we raised a $8M (₹78 Cr) Pre-Series B led by IvyCap Ventures, with SIG Tattva and Trifecta Capital, following our Series A from pi Ventures and Axilor. DeepInspect is featured in Intel's Edge AI Catalog and available via the Nokia MXIE marketplace.
About the Role
We have grown on founder-led sales, referrals, an active SDR team and a strong offline presence. What we have not built is a measurable demand engine — and that is this job.
You will own the number: MQLs, SQLs and marketing-sourced pipeline across India, Europe, SEA and the Americas. You inherit a small team (today an executive driving SEO), a real budget, live co-marketing funds from Intel, and a set of industry relationships worth compounding. Outbound and account-based plays sit with the SDR team; you build the engine that feeds them and generate inbound and campaign-led pipeline alongside.
One thing to be clear-eyed about: our buyers are plant quality heads and VPs of Operations in legacy manufacturing. They do not respond to standard SaaS playbooks, and the sales cycle is long and technical. Working out what does land here is the most interesting part of this role.
What you will own
Pipeline and the inbound engine
Own the marketing-sourced pipeline target, the funnel model behind it, and the marketing budget — reported as cost per SQL and pipeline ROI by channel and geography.
Rebuild lead flow in HubSpot properly: capture, scoring, routing and nurture, replacing today's manual forwarding of website form submissions.
Scale SEO, content and the website as conversion assets, working with and developing our SEO executive.
Campaigns
Run paid across LinkedIn, Google and trade publications against a cost-per-qualified-lead target, adapted per geography — an Indian Tier-1 auto buyer and a German FMCG plant do not respond to the same campaign.
Maintain a disciplined test-and-kill cadence on audiences, creative, offers and landing pages.
Events and field marketing.
Own the global event portfolio — CII summits, ProPak, partner demo days, webinars and tech days — including selection, budgets, vendors and booth logistics.
Run pre-event demand generation, on-site lead capture quality and post-event follow-up with Sales; hold events to the same cost-per-SQL bar as every other channel.
Partner and ecosystem marketing
Run our Intel Partner Alliance co-marketing programme end to end — MDF campaign proposals, agreed tactics and metrics, demo kit and asset creation, and outcome reporting back to Intel.
Build co-marketing motions with Nokia and systems integrators, and make SwitchOn easy for a partner to sell alongside their own offering.
Manage our presence with industry bodies and platforms (CII, WEF MINDS, GIIC), plus awards, speaking slots and analyst visibility.
Content, enablement and alignment
Build what this buyer actually reads: technical explainers, case studies, capability decks, and Cost-of-Poor-Quality / ROI calculators — translating capability into scrap, rework and uptime numbers with Product and Sales Engineering.
Run a standing cadence with Sales and the SDR team on lead quality and SLAs; agree MQL and SQL definitions and hold both sides to them.
Manage, coach and grow the team and our agency and vendor relationships.
Why join us?
A growth-stage Physical AI company fresh off a $8M Pre-Series B, funded specifically to scale international go-to-market.
You own the marketing number in a company where the function has not been built yet — the ceiling on impact, and on your own growth, is high.
Frontier AI applied to a real, physical problem, with customers who are household names on four continents.
Location — Bangalore. Work from the office.
Requirements
Requirements
5–8 years in B2B marketing, including at least 3 in demand generation or growth where you personally owned a pipeline or lead number.
A demand engine you built: you should be able to walk us through the funnel you owned, its assumptions, and what you changed when it missed.
Hands-on paid channel expertise (LinkedIn and Google at minimum) with real budget ownership.
Strong working knowledge of HubSpot or equivalent — lead scoring, routing, attribution — set up by you, not inherited.
SEO and content fundamentals solid enough to develop a specialist, not just brief one.
Event and field marketing experience, including budget and vendor management.
Excellent written English — you can write the landing page, the sequence and the case study yourself.
Experience managing at least one direct report.
Good to have
- Marketing a technical product to manufacturing, industrial or other non-digital-native buyers.
- Partner or channel co-marketing experience, ideally with MDF-funded programmes.
- International demand generation across Europe, SEA or the Americas.
- Familiarity with machine vision, industrial automation or Industry 4.0.
What success looks like
- By 90 days: an instrumented funnel in HubSpot with attribution everyone trusts, a cost-per-SQL view of every channel and event we run, and agreed MQL/SQL definitions with Sales and the SDR team.
- By 12 months: a forecastable marketing contribution to pipeline with cost per SQL improving month on month, and at least two channels beyond events producing qualified pipeline sustainably.
