Job Summary: 
  • We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer / Electro-Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in NX and SolidWorks. 
  • The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in mechanical design, cable routing, and working within Teamcenter PLM systems. Knowledge of Change Request / Engineering Change Notice (CR/ECN) processes, BoM management, and product documentation is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:  
• Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies using NX and SolidWorks.
 • Manage end-to-end design lifecycle including modelling, drafting, detailing, and revision control. 
 • Perform cable/harness routing and integration in 3D environments. 
 • Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support product development.
 • Manage product structure and BoMs in Teamcenter.
 • Support and participate in CR/ECN processes.
 • Conduct tolerance analysis, GD&T, and design validation reviews. 
 • Participate in FMEA and other risk assessment/mitigation activities. 
 • Document procedures and design reports as needed. 
 Must-Have Skills:  
• Strong experience with Siemens NX and SolidWorks CAD tools. 
 • Proficient in Teamcenter PLM system. 
 • Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and manufacturing feasibility. 
 • Experience with cable routing, electro-mechanical packaging, and assembly design.
 • Good knowledge of BoM creation and maintenance. 
 • Exposure to FMEA, DFMEA, and risk analysis techniques.
 Nice-to-Have Skills: 
• Familiarity with CR/ECN processes and engineering documentation standards. 
 • Knowledge of procedure writing and technical documentation best practices.
 • Awareness of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA). 
 • Prior experience in a regulated or high-precision industry is an added advantage. 
 Qualifications:  
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
