Job Summary:
Plans and executes mechanical design and development projects of moderate complexity for medical devices. Contributes to product innovation and quality by delivering compliant mechanical systems and collaborating across functions to meet customer and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems for new and existing products.
- Generate 3D models, drawings, and specifications using SolidWorks.
- Define and manage system and subsystem requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure design for manufacturability and testability.
- Execute and document verification and validation testing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to support sourcing and testing activities.
- Apply FBS tools to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
- Performs Failure Analyses and Investigation reports.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum: 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Minimum: 2+ years of relevant engineering experience with Master's

Role and Competencies Requirements:
- Proficient in SolidWorks and GD&T.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and electrical safety.
- Skilled in design for manufacturing and testability.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and Visio.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrates adaptability and problem-solving
- Uses general hand and laboratory tools.
- Domestic and International travel as required
