Design or modify mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, perform engineering analysis and generate test reports under supervision, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and assist with product specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design or modify Mechanical/Electromechanical assemblies and/or detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervision
- Understands BOM and can make/recommend changes.
- Find/Recommend alternates for obsolete components.
- Perform basic engineering analysis under general supervision
- Perform and generate basic engineering test reports under general supervision
- Coordinate the procurement and assembly of Mechanical/Electromechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues
- Troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex Mechanical problems
- Implement concepts for product issues and mechanical solutions of moderate difficulty
- Assist in development of mechanical product specifications
