What you can expect

As a Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting telecom operations data. You will design dashboards to monitor system health and capture key performance metrics. You will also analyze data to identify traffic patterns, build anomaly detection and predictive models. There will be rotational on-call work that's required for this position.

The team manages telecom infrastructure that connects ZoomPhone and Zoom Contact Center. By employing robust operational and monitoring strategies, they guarantee the stability and security of Zoom's infrastructure, allowing millions of users worldwide to connect effortlessly.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of work experience as a real-time monitoring engineer or ETL developer or big data analyst

• Experience with AWS services and tools, including CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, and Config.

• Experience in understanding of ITSM workflow.

• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker.

• Able to understand serverless technologies like AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

• Experience with data visualization tools & Jupyter hands-on.

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and enterprise tools.

• Experience in scripting languages like Python for automation and data analysis.

• Configure monitoring tools to collect and analyze performance metrics, system logs, and application data, and identifying the monitoring gaps & their implementation.
