We are seeking a passionate and creative Motion Designer who understands how video and design can unite to bring a compelling story to life. The ideal candidate has a strong graphic design background and experience creating and editing explainer videos, GIFs, testimonials, and other forms of video content.
You prioritize good design and understand the importance of color, typography, contrast, and other design principles.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of previous video/motion design experience
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or other related field
- A website or online portfolio showcasing a thorough understanding of motion/video design principles. Applications without this will not be considered.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong graphic design skills with a high understanding of typography, layout, contrast, composition, and space
Responsibilities:
- Design and illustrate storyboards for video projects
- Lead & manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
- Execute video projects from storyboards, sketches, and footage
- Create video and motion graphics while adhering to brand style guidelines
- Develop GIFs, explainer videos, demos, teasers, and short motion graphics
- Edit testimonials, webinars, and other video content
- Tell compelling stories using video and motion graphic sequences
- Support graphic design requests as needed. [creative assets for a variety of media, including digital, print, social media, and marketing/sales materials–as needed]
- Work in a fast-paced environment with strong project management skills
