Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Member of Technical Staff Level 3 (MTS3) to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. As an MTS3, you will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence, leading complex projects, and mentoring junior team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions.
- Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain high-quality software development practices
- Optimize system performance and identify areas for improvement in existing applications
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance our development processes and product offerings
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the organization
- Drive innovation by researching and proposing solutions to complex technical challenges
- Assist in defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java-based systems
- Proven expertise in a wide range of technologies, including but not limited to: Java, AWS services, Kafka, Spring, SQL databases, Python, and Lambda
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with related tools (GitLab experience is a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, with at least 4 years of leadership experience
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical issues
- Proficiency in performance optimization techniques and experience with scalable system design
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Proven ability to innovate and drive technological advancements within a team or organization
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS, and serverless architectures
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in code quality and system design
