Role – Network Engineer
- Proven experience (+5 years) in a commercially aware IT Networks function with a focus on successful Network design, delivery and operational support
- In-depth knowledge in Cisco technologies, in particular:
- Cisco Routing & Switching
- Cisco ASA/Firepower
- Cisco SDA, SD-WAN
- Cisco Wireless
- In-depth knowledge of wider network ecosystem including:
- Security: Fortigate, Palo Alto
- Services: Infoblox DNS/DHCP, ISE, DNAC
- Cloud: Azure, AWS
- Ability to understand multiple Network designs, quickly getting to grips with the intricacies of DC Lan and Network hub applications (DDI, Firewall, Routers and switches) and delivery
- Proven experience of working with Managed Service partners and vendors to deliver successful change and troubleshoot escalated operational incidents to resolution; experience with Remedy a plus
- Experience of ITIL process, in particular Change Management with experience of preparing change, presenting and obtaining approval at CAB and driving successful delivery and closure of change activity
- Strong documentation skills, ability to create understandable lasting Network Maps and document procedures to upgrade and design
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with ability to extrapolate tasks, taking ownership and driving them to completion
- Strong interpersonal, communication and business skills. Able to communicate at relevant levels
- Reporting manager is in USA Pacific time zone
