The Role
We are growing our Sales and Solution Engineering teams and looking for high energy, dedicated professionals who can help add new clients to our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate key technical differentiators of Alkira service and help our large strategic enterprise accounts transform their network to become disruptive, creative and innovative.
We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Network Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in a network engineering or support role. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with network provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting. A valid networking certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is required.
This is a great opportunity for a junior-level professional to grow within a dynamic IT team and gain exposure to enterprise-level infrastructure.
Location: This is a 100% remote position located in India, preferably Mumbai or Bengaluru. No relocation
Shift: Rotational Shifts (Day/Night)
Responsibilities:
- Provision and configure network on Alkira platform
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network issues
- Support the rollout of new network solutions and services
- Work with senior engineers to implement and document network changes
- Participate in on-call rotation and work in shifts, including nights and weekends
- Maintain accurate documentation of network topologies, configurations, and procedures
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in a network engineering or IT infrastructure role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
- Hands-on experience provisioning network devices
- Networking certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
- Knowledge of cloud network and cloud security fundamentals will be preferred
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
