About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Network Engineering Senior Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk for Network Operations and maintaining the enterprise network
  • Provides overall expertise with all network operations functions.
  • Collaborate with network engineers and Information Technology Team to design and implement the company's network infrastructure, resolving advanced support issues
  • Hire, develop, and retain highly responsive and customer focused engineers to ensure the effective operation of the department
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the Network function
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Manage network, delegate tasks and ensure networking team performs as a cohesive unit, maintaining the stability and performance of network
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Network Operations team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for Network functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
  • Create and implement network security measures
  • Develop a backup disaster recovery plan for a network emergency
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including managers
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Network Operations & Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience in a global environment with presence across multiple regions
  • Management experience with hands on technical experience in Level 3 Network Operations and Engineering
  • Scripting & Automation Experience
  • Understanding and Experience in Site Reliability Engineering & its principles
  • Experience working in multiple regions globally (international experience) is desirable
