What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. You will ensure the highest quality standards for our Customer Experience Platform. If you are passionate about building robust QA processes for modern cloud platforms and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
Testing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both backend and frontend components.
- Test RESTful APIs and ensure data integrity across backend systems.
- Leverage tools like Postman, Pytest, or equivalent for API testing.
- Validate UI/UX components for responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Utilize tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress to test React-based frontend applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Automation:
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Optimize automation frameworks to ensure continuous delivery and deployment.
Defect Management:
- Track, document, and manage bugs in collaboration with the development team using tools like Jira.
- Ensure timely resolution of reported issues with proper prioritization.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to define clear acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in cloud-native platforms, with exposure to both backend and frontend technologies.
- Strong understanding of Django and REST API testing.
- Hands-on experience testing React/Next.js applications.
- Proficiency in automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with version control systems like Git, CI/CD pipelines, and defect tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
