Nosh Robotics is a kitchen robotics startup building home robots that cook delicious food. Idea is to take humanity forward and relieve it completely from cooking in the next 20 years. Our vision is to enable everyone to cook and taste dishes from every corner of the Earth, making sure no one misses those meals they crave for, any time of the day!
Here is our first product, Nosh, cooking Matar Paneer:
We are looking for a rockstar Android Developer, who will be responsible for building scalable and secure Android Application
What you'll do
● Develop an IoT enabled Android app using Jetpack and Kotlin for our cooking robot.
● Ensure quality through independent code reviews and unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
● Work with APIs and external data sources.
● Work in integrating AI and CV in the application
● Optimizing existing apps' performance for speed and scalability
● Work with teams on delivering key features and performance targets
Who you are
● Have published at least one original Android application
● Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
● Have 1+ years experience building scalable android applications
● Proficient in Kotlin
● Writes well-structured, efficient, and testable code
● Have good understanding of SOLID design principles and architecture patterns for Android
● Experience with using Jetpack compose.
● Knowledge of JNI and using NDK is a plus.
● Have worked with Services, Workmanagers, BroadcastReceivers and Alarmmanagers.
● Having worked with applications for hardware devices is a big plus.
