Job Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for a diverse range of operational project management work, support efforts, and process improvement initiatives. The Project Manager is responsible for determining project & support scopes, schedules, , and effective and timely communications with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of project management methodologies, a strong attention to detail, excellent organization and communications (written/verbal) skills, thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a continuous improvement mind set. Projects the incumbent will manage will range in complexity and will typically impact one or more of the flowing: process, system, product and/or function.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Issue Resolution Management
- Issues Log Management; Call Lead/Facilitator
- Help Desk Ticket Escalation and Priority Management
- Urgent Business Alerts Communications
- Open Enrollment Support, Governance and Communications
- Core Operations Communications
- System Development Release Governance & Oversight
- Performance Guarantee Governance & Oversight
- Define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities
- Research, evaluate, design, and propose solutions for process improvements to meet business needs in accordance with best practices and continuous improvement goals
- Identify process, system, product or function gaps and recommends optimization opportunities to enhance the strategic direction of the project
- Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Determine, prepare and maintain a detailed project plan with key milestones, workstreams and activities as needed
- Prepare and deliver project updates to key stakeholders including leadership
- Lead project calls with SMEs/Stakeholders/Leadership as needed
- Develop meeting agendas and assign pre-work as needed
- Partner with SMEs and key stakeholders to create training/job aides for key processes
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project, support effort or process improvement initiative
- Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Communicate with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals
- Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
- Build communication plan (project/process summary) to ensure all business areas have awareness of the project or support effort, its purpose, duration, and action needed by anyone outside of the initial project/teams
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management

Compensation & Benefits
$87,100 - $107,100 per year
