When I flipped my first few homes to turn them into turnkey AirBnBs, I realised that good design and furniture can get you eyeballs, but only good functionality can get you long term customers.

To put it in very simple terms, this job for me is like the job of a doctor. Think of each home as a person, find out what’s wrong with them and fix them the right way – so that they don’t get sick again. Just like understanding humans can be difficult, understanding that it takes real skill to maintain and keep homes running is a major realisation for whoever has done it before.

This role is not just about exhibiting operational supremacy, it’s also about understanding the homes we acquire better than the ones who created them.

As a Operations Associate (Property Management), you'll own the entire process of transforming a raw house into a fully functional Flent home. Once a property hits your desk, it's yours to bring to life.

You'll kick things off by thoroughly documenting the home's condition, outlining all the work needed, assigning the right vendors, and getting materials on site. From there, you'll coordinate execution, manage budgets, and ensure every home is completed on schedule. A huge part of your job is vendor management. You'll oversee our entire network of on-roll and off-roll vendors. That means onboarding new partners, arranging expert-led training, and ensuring everyone consistently hits Flent's standards.

You'll also run large-scale inventory – everything from electricals and carpentry materials to plumbing and cleaning supplies. Keeping track of availability, usage, and timely procurement is absolutely critical to keeping setups moving smoothly.

This role is for someone who handles chaos well, thinks from first principles, manages blue-collar vendors with ease, and finds solutions when none seem to exist. Success here means truly understanding real-world problems, simplifying them, and delivering scalable results, every single time.

• Own End-to-End Home Setup
  Drive the entire home transformation from planning and vendor allocation to execution and final handover. You’ll manage budgets, coordinate timelines, and solve on-site challenges so each handover meets Flent’s standards.

• Manage & Optimize Vendor Operation
  You’ll own our network of on-roll and off-roll vendors. From onboarding new partners to arranging training and managing their productivity, you’ll ensure everyone delivers consistently. Your role is to make vendor operations reliable, predictable, and scalable across multiple homes.

• Resolve On-Ground Challenges
  Be the key problem-solver on site. You'll tackle real-time issues – from layout mismatches to missing deliveries – keeping setups efficient and on track.

• Oversee Inventory & Budget
  Manage large-scale material inventory across categories. You'll track availability, usage, and spending to ensure seamless operations and financial accountability.

• Uphold Quality & Streamline Processes
  Maintain uncompromising quality for every handover. You'll identify process gaps and build repeatable solutions to boost speed and reduce errors.

• Visiting homes to assess readiness and plan setups.

• Documenting fixtures, identifying issues, and creating clear work scopes.

• Coordinating multiple setups across different stages of completion.

• Updating trackers for project progress, vendor assignments, budgets, and inventory movement.

• Running vendor check-ins, fixing on-site issues, and coordinating with design and other teams.

• Performing final quality check – testing every switch, tap, lock, and appliance is working as expected.

• Ensuring the home is 100% functional, spotless, and ready for handover.

• Has 1-3 years of experience in hands-on, ops-heavy roles – like field execution, project coordination, construction, or vendor management.

• Thrives under pressure and keeps things moving, even when plans aren’t perfectly clear.

• Thinks in systems — breaks problems down and builds processes that others can follow easily.

• Takes full ownership – you don't wait for instructions or pass the buck.

• Communicates clearly and confidently, especially with vendors and on-site teams.

• Knows how to manage and track inventory across multiple categories.

• Is curious, eager to learn, and naturally wired to solve problems.

• Understands that setting up a home isn’t just checking boxes — it’s about creating a space that works and setting the standard for Flent quality.
