We are seeking an Outsourced Services Senior Accountant to join our Outsourced Services Accounting practice. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, growing environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client service.

The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, monthly close processes, and preparation of financial reports including operating statements and cash flow statements. The candidate will ensure compliance with GAAP, manage fixed assets including depreciation and prepaid expenses, and support budget variance analysis for assigned properties.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close under US GAAP and IFRS

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and close support schedules

  • Prepare financial statements and supporting working papers

  • Support lease accounting under ASC 842 / IFRS 16

  • Assist with consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations

  • Provide audit and compliance support, including PBC schedules and audit query resolution

  • Manage Accounts Payable processing and reviews

  • Support Accounts Receivable, including billing, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, revenue recognition entries, and receivable reconciliations

  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables

  • Assist with budget preparation and perform monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis, providing clear explanations and insights.

  • Prepare and review monthly bank/credit card reconciliation, investigating and resolving the variance and open items.

Requirements & Skills

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 4+ years of hands-on experience, preferably within outsourcing.

  • Software Proficiency:

    • Experience with Intacct, NetSuite, Xero, QBO, or similar platforms, along with strong proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Solid understanding of GAAP, month-end close processes, fixed assets, prepaids, and accrual accounting.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, ability to manage deadlines, and effective communication skills in a multi-stakeholder environment.
