The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As a Part Time Student Technical QE for JD Waterloo Works located in Waterloo, IA, you will:
- Warranty warehouse work list updates, warranty claim changes, part coding
- Maintaining, updating, and distributing weekly and monthly reports
- Implementing opportunities for process improvements/automation of reports
- Attending and assisting in facilitation of recurring meetings
This position is not available to students on immigration visas
What Skills You Need
- Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in MIS, CIS, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Graduation date of May 2026 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc)
- Experience in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
- 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
- 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester as project work allows

- Programming skills such as SQL or Python
- Experience in visualization software such as Power BI
- Experience with DataBricks & PowerApp,
