We are looking for a People Operations Associate to join our Global Shared Services team, at Atlassian. You will provide support to our EMEA-based employees and managers and, in partnership with HR Partners or Centres of Excellence (COEs), to deliver great experiences.
We are looking for a driven and energetic People Operations Associate to provide support for the effective functioning of the key HR processes related to employee lifecycle, ensuring the provision of a legally compliant and digitally led service. You will be part of the EMEA HR operations team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Atlassian Talent strategy is properly delivered. You will use your ability to follow a logical and systematic approach to issues, escalating matters where needed to your superiors, delivering with accuracy and in set timeframes.

  • Supports a diverse variety of EMEA HR operations projects that range significantly in size and complexity
  • Implements the hiring/termination, mobility & onboarding processes along with relevant reporting requirements to internal & external stakeholders
  • Participates in workforce administration processes, including working time, leaves & absences, employees' data recording & reporting, hiring and termination process
  • Processes employees' data according to data privacy legal framework
  • Keeps up with labor legislation updates and alerts HR Operations supervisor accordingly
  • Be the data integrity champion to ensure employee records are up to date
  • Solid attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • This role requires someone comfortable working in a high volume; fast-paced, results-oriented environment and holding themselves to a very high customer service standard.

  • Up to 3 years of relevant working experience in all areas of an HR transactional environment for a large and complex global organization especially EMEA region
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR practices
  • Bachelor's degree in BA/BS, or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with proven capacity to prioritize and multi-task
  • Advanced MS Office user with a focus on Excel
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate tentative strategic decisions
  • Experience with Workday or other similar HR Management systems
  • Knowledge of GDPR, work permits, and European right to work
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products/tools e.g. Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Trello
  • Has a passion for technology and desire to learn different digital platforms
