Job Summary:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in performance testing roles.
• Strong expertise in performance testing tools, with mandatory experience in LoadRunner and proficiency in JMeter and BlazeMeter (Preferable in BlazeMeter).
• Proven experience in migrating LoadRunner scripts to BlazeMeter or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience in performance testing in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), specifically with Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Application Insights, Azure Cache for Redis).
• Proficiency in database testing, including SQL querying, data validation, and backend testing.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Expert in CI/CD integration, with hands-on experience integrating performance testing tools within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps). Preferable Azure.
• Experience with Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and New Relic for performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing applications.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
• Experience in fetching live test data and implementing techniques to mask sensitive information before processing.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead the evaluation and migration of performance testing tools from LoadRunner to BlazeMeter, ensuring alignment with the current test strategy.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive proof-of-concept (POC) for tool migration and integration, including validation of Azure infrastructure components (Azure SQL MI, Application Gateway, Redis Cache, etc.).
• Analyze and optimize performance testing processes, including test data management, cloud execution, CI/CD integration, and telemetry configuration.
• Utilize Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, and Azure monitoring tools to monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, validate auto-scaling, and ensure optimal application performance.
• Execute different types of performance tests (smoke, stress, load, benchmark, endurance) to meet defined SLAs (e.g., UI and API response times, CPU usage).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on performance testing strategies and requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports and present recommendations to stakeholders for tool selection, optimization, and future scalability

 Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in performance monitoring and analysis using tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Application Insights, and PerfView.
• Familiarity with Azure infrastructure validation processes, including testing Azure SQL Managed Instances, Azure Service Environment, Azure Cache for Redis, and other Azure services.
• Experience in executing various performance testing types, such as smoke, stress, load, benchmark, and endurance testing.
• Ability to design, execute, and monitor complex performance tests involving both API and UI transactions based on production workload characteristics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
