Job Description
We are seeking a skilled software engineer with 7-12 years of industry experience to join our performance engineering team for enterprise software products. The job will require executing performance and reliability tests, analyzing test results and reporting results to product engineering for existing and future products. In this role, you will help design and develop testing process, improve reliability of complex mission critical systems and help deploy software solutions at some of the largest manufacturer of the world. Responsibility
- Communicate with stakeholders to create and refine project requirements
- Validate products achieve the required level of reliability, availability and performance for production use
- Standardize, automate and improve test methodologies where needed.
- Conduct root cause analysis of service interruption and establish preventive measures
- Perform proof of concepts on new technologies as needed
Skills and Qualification
- Good working experience in Linux and/or Windows
- Working experience in databases. Knowledge in Oracle and Postgres databases is desired.
- Working experience in any scripting language like Shell scripts , PowerShell, Python
- Experience in automating tests, use of performance monitoring tools
- Prior experience in enterprise distributed application is desired but not required
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to communicate ideas and results to stakeholders
