The Platform Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for applications, collaborating with developers to optimize performance and ensure reliability.
InfyStrat is looking for a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and platforms that support our software applications. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that our platforms are scalable, reliable, and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in platform engineering and a passion for leveraging modern technologies to improve system performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities- Design and implement robust and scalable platform architectures to support application deployment.
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with software development teams to optimize applications for the platform.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using DevOps tools.
- Implement security best practices to protect the platform and data.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the platform.
- Document platform architecture, processes, and configurations for internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in platform engineering or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of networking, security, and database management is a plus.
