About BMG-6IN:
BMG-6IN is a technology driven division of Bosch Ltd. We build Assembly Lines, stand-alone stations, testing and process
machines mainly for captive use. From the service side we are into re-location projects, up gradation of old/existing lines and
machines, modifications on existing machines, obsolescence management, spare parts supply and process and cycle time
improvement.
Our team of specialized engineers and technicians work together to
Develop Software.
Deploy, test and tryout Software on machines.
Commission the machine at our customer site.
We are currently looking to hire highly motivated and well-prepared Software developers in the field of Industrial automation to
support us in our projects.
The role of a Software Engineer is an opportunity for a self-motivated, fast paced individual who enjoys working in a creative
environment.
The role of the individual is to work with the Software Engineering team at BMG-6IN and develop Special purpose Machine control
software.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Software project planning.
To collect the requirements from Mechanical Design Team, Electrical hardware Designer and CustomerTo Document the requirements and make the time plan for the software development activities.
2. Offline Software Development
Develop PLC & HMI software.To Conduct Software review with peers.To fill in the software check lists, identify and record risks with mitigation plan.3. Software Trials & Validation.
To do Software trials on machines.Tryout will be at Bosch Naganathpura Plant or at Customer location for upgradation projects.To record the OPL’s and completion of the same.
4. Commissioning of Stations
To travel to Customer location, both inland and abroad as and when required.
Flexibility to travel within short notice
Lessons Learnt and Knowledge sharing with peers.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics (Experience in Mechatronics will be an added advantage)
1-6 years of experience in machine building industry.
Strong programming knowledge on Siemens PLC, Bosch Rexroth, Beckhoff PLC, Allen Bradley, Delta, Mitsubishi.
Proficiency in IEC61131 - Structured Text programming language.
Programming knowledge on HMI systems of Siemens, Bosch Rexroth, Beckhoff etc.
Knowledge of interfaces like Ethercat, Profibus, profinet, RS232 etc.
Basics of Robotics and Vision Systems.
Parameterization and Programming of devices like Servo Drives, Tightening controllers, Pressing systems etc.
Read and understand Electrical circuit diagram prepared in E-Plan.
Good team player.
Soft skill:
Good Presentation skills
Positive Attitude and Proactive approach.
Flexible for frequent travel to customer locations with in India & abroad.
